Hartley Logistics Waves Goodbye To Volvo!

Only 1/3 of the Hartley Logistics fleet is owned by Hartley Logistics, the rest is on a leasing agreement with truck manufacturers. Volvo trucks has been supplying to Hartley Logistics ever since just after the company began almost 6 years ago and this October marks the end of the 5 year contract agreement and due to costs, the contract will not be renewed. It is estimated that by the end of the month, all leased Volvo trucks will be returned to Volvo Trucks UK to be sold on. There are only two Volvos that are owned by Hartley Logistics however because of the age and mileage on the trucks, they will be sold on privately. As the Volvo Trucks leaving the fleet will need replacing, CEO Dominic Hartley has announced that he has secured a cheaper 3 year contract with Renault for 30 Renault T Range trucks to enter the fleet. The first two trucks have been spotted on the roads in the Hartley Logistics colours already.
