It's just one month until Hartley Logistic's 8th birthday and the design team have been busy refreshing the truck's livery in celebration. Unlike previous livery designs, the new one is a more simplified livery, yet is very pleasing to the eye! The new livery was created with branding in mind - but not in a normal way. "We wanted our new livery to display more than our brand name." said Gregory Yetts, the lead designer for Hartley Logistics. "With the whole re-branding of The Hartley Logistics | P.W. Limited Group into just the Hartley Logistics Group, we felt it necessary to refresh the branding. Our focus was to show off our brand name whilst also making it simple and easy, everything we stand for!" he went on to say. The livery design doesn't end there. Along with the new livery, all Hartley Logistics UK trucks will soon unveil a unique name, as seen on other UK trucks. The idea was in fact pulled from Eddie Stobart, right where many Hartley Logistics drivers started! Many trucks were named whilst they were put into their fancy new coats of paint. The names included: - Janice Davis - Christine Ann - Bronwyn Metcalfe - Isabelle - Connie - Nancy Fleur Thatcher - Carrie Weston - Captain Tom It is unclear which names will appear on tractors in the future however Hartley Logistics aren't looking to take any name applications as of yet. The new livery is currently being applied to all Hartley Logistics UK, and EU trucks and trailers however, like previously mentioned, only the UK tractors will display names although this could change in the future.
